MoJ seeks delivery manager to support teams through portfolio processes

The expected contract length is six months with option to extend up to 2 years

 

Ministry of Justice (MoJ) Digital & Technology team is looking for a delivery manager to work on high priority projects to deliver against MoJ’s strategic commitments and required transformation projects.

The delivery manager will need to identify and resolve organisational issues blocking delivery and manage inter dependencies between major programmes, provide objective and constructive peer review challenge and support teams through portfolio processes.

The specialist will collaborate with delivery, technical and business leads across the MoJ to identify and resolve organisational issues blocking delivery and managing interdependencies between major programmes.

The role will be responsible for supporting teams through portfolio processes and joining up with external governance requirements to reduce distractions on delivery teams as well as providing constructive ‘peer review’ challenge to surface risks early and ensure intended benefits are realised.

The delivery manager will be reporting to the deputy director for Portfolio & Delivery Unit.

The target day rate ranges between £580 and £610, with a contract length of six months with option to extend up to 2 years.
