Poss Apostolou is latest GDS specialist to join firm, following five others

Public sector digital services provider dxw has recruited Government Digital Service (GDS) head of delivery operations Poss Apostolou join the firm.

Apostolou has joined as head of commercial operations, where he’ll be responsible for the company's operations, compliance and contract management. As a part of dxw's senior team he is also expected to have a client-facing role in the company's strategy work.

The head of commercial operations position is a new role at dxw, which has a growing workforce. Set up in 2008, its team has grown from 15 to 25 this year alone and has seen an expansion into bigger offices in Hoxton Square.

Apostolou will be the sixth ex-GDS staffer to join the firm, following in the footsteps of David Mann, Stacey Phillips, Jess Perriam, Alex Jackson and Joshua Marshall.

Harry Metcalfe, dxw founder and managing director says, "We started a conversation with Poss about joining dxw because we recognised that his significant government experience will put us in a better position to help our clients.

“We plan to continue growing dxw, so that we can continue to take on bigger projects with more potential to change the way government works for the better. The skills and experience that Poss brings will help us to grow, to operate more efficiently and to do better for our clients."
