DWP seeks Digital Delivery Director

£130k role will be responsible for leading DWP Digital's operational service delivery


The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is recruiting a Digital Delivery Director to create the next generation enterprise-wide architecture design and infrastructure. 

The new recruit will lead architecture design experts to set design standards and guidance across all domains, including software, data, integration, infrastructure, security and operational management.  The post holder will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of large-scale hybrid, cloud delivery, including servers, storage, virtualisation, telephony services, rewalls, and internet gateways.

Applicants will need to demonstrate experience of driving value for money from budgets of over £500m and a proven track record of driving commercial relationships with vendor partners to deliver outcomes for a scale business.

Application close on September 18 with panel interviews due to be held on November 10. The panel will include DWP director general Digital Technology Mayank Prakash and Government Digital Service capability director Holly Ellis.
