Need practical advice and guidance on your Cloud journey?

Government Computing's "The How of the Cloud" microsite can help

The flexibility and cost advantages of the Cloud have already been well-documented. However, many public sector organisations still need to persuade their executives to consider using the Cloud as an option, and then they still need to make it happen.

Our 'how to' microsite , 'The How of the Cloud', in association with Microsoft, is all about providing practical advice and guidance on moving to the Cloud. It will answer questions such as: What are the steps in adoption? How do you make the business case? How can partner organisations help? What are the lessons from some of those early adopters? What did they do in their organisations? How do you counter those naysayers within the organisation who still have reservations about using Cloud-based solutions?

This site, which went live today, aims to help, providing case studies, white papers and other useful resources. Look out for future case studies about Wiltshire Council, West Midlands Ambulance Service and the Environment Agency.

When it comes to Cloud, today's question is not why, but how.
